Radiant Body Yoga

Kundalini + Iyengar

Radiant Body Yoga was founded by master yogini, Kia Miller. It is a holistic approach to yoga, rooted in both the Hatha and Kundalini traditions. This approach combines the technical precision of Iyengar with the subtle dimensions of Kundalini.

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Following a precise set of exercises, awaken the energy stored at the base of the spine uniting power with consciousness.

Many think of Yoga as a prescribed set of postures, but it is so much more. The real practice of yoga is to facilitate understanding and complete mastery over the mind. The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to unite’. The practice of Yoga merges dual forces - stability and fluidity, expansion and contraction, feminine and masculine - leading to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness.

“This is where you access the state of yoga – an integrated state of being in mind, body and spirit.”

- Kia Miller

FAQs

Where are your yoga classes held?

I teach in-person at The Center in Frederick, Maryland and online through the Patreon community: The Song Within.

Will I be recorded?

Definitely not. I record classes using Quicktime, so only I am the one recorded, not any students.

What do I need to bring to yoga?

Most ideal is to have a yoga mat and blanket or cushion to elevate your hips in seated postures. Other nice-to-haves are a yoga block, strap, and eye pillow for savasana.

Do I need to turn my camera on?

Having your camera on or off is completely up to you.

Do you play music?

Yes! Music is a big part of our classes. I’ll often offer live music using the Harmonium. Otherwise, we’ll always have a playlist of calming and inspiring tunes playing in the background.

What if I’m new to yoga?

All levels are welcome, but please let me know ahead of time if you are new to yoga, so that I can tailor the instructions to meet your needs.
